Where in the World will our Wedding be?

This seems to be the topic of discussion these days.  The good thing is that we have canceled out all locations within a 300 mile radius of our home.  The bad thing is the world is much bigger then we thought.

We know three things at this point: the location will be on the beach, the hotel will be all inclusive and travel packages will be reasonable priced (some have gone as far to say I am cheap).  Outside of that we have no clue.  Locations thrown out up to this point are St. Johns, Aruba, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.  If you have a preference please let us know.  Chances are that we will not consider it when making our decision but do not let that stop you from offering an opinion.

The plan at this point is to make a decision within the next month or two so that we can schedule a vacation to the hotel later this year and scout it out.  Hopefully we choose right the first time because I will not spend any money to visit plan b….we will just cross our fingers and hope.

Are all of these Wedding magazines necessary?

I never really gave it much thought before but maybe weddings are the business idea I have been looking for all these years.  Songkhla seems to be keeping every wedding magazine afloat all by herself.   Their slowly starting to infiltrate our home.  Close to 10 of these things are within my reach as we speak, not to mention the 100’s of others strewed throughout the house.  It would have been 101 but I managed to talk her out of purchasing a magazine devoted to pictures of wedding flower arrangements.

All of this got me wondering, is this how she views my sport watching?  She always complains about how I would watch paint dry if they made a sport out of it.  In the past I would typically act as if I was paying attention and throw in a ‘sure’ or ‘yes’ every now and then but now I am wondering if I am to sports watching what Songkhla is to wedding watching?

I don’t know the answer to any of this.  All I know is that if these wedding magazines keep getting purchased at this rate we will need to copy all other business industries and apply for some government bailout money.

Hello Family and Friends

Welcome! You have probably made your way to this site because you fall into one of these two categories, though others visitors are welcome to share in the exhilarating blogging of our upcoming wedding.  I cannot promise this blog will be updated timely, especially since I have worked out an agreement that allows me to avoid all wedding talk three days out of the week.

Anyways, welcome to our blog.  Hopefully we can keep the content mildly interesting.
