Here’s your proof.

Our photographer Dede did an amazing job.  Below is the link to her blog or you can click on her link under the blogroll.  Dede captured some great moments.  I absolutely love them!!  I can’t wait to see all the pictures.  I hope that we have the opportunity to work with her again in the future.

Mr & Mrs V here!!!

Sorry for the delay in blogging.  The computer was accidentally left at the hotel in Michigan and we haven’t gotten it back as of yet. Kevin and I have been reluctantly working on getting back to the real world after being on vacation for two weeks.

St Thomas was wonderful and very relaxing.  We had the opportunity to spend one day on St Johns enjoying the beach and snorkeling. There is nothing better then forgetting all your responsibilities for a couple of days.

After St Thomas, we return home and then drove down to FL to meet the rest of the family.  We had a blast with everyone and wish that it could have last forever.

I’ll have to post pictures later as I’m having computer and camera problems.

We did it!!

And lived to blog about it.  The start of our extended wedding vacation began with a trip up to Benton Harbor, Michigan for the Steelhead Ironman 70.3 triathlon race.

The race started with a great point to point swim along the Michigan Lake shoreline.  Having never seen Lake Michigan before, I would have sworn we were entering the Pacific Ocean.  After the swim transition we headed through the neighboring counties for our bike course.  The bike was great until about mile marker 35 when we had to contend with a 15 mile per hour head wind all the way home.  The race ended with a 2 loop run through the Whirlpool headquarters.

The weather was great all day long until around 3 when the rain came in.  Two members from our race crew got caught out on the course in the rain……guess they will learn to be faster next time.

Anyway, here are some pictures from the race.  Songkhla’s sister isn’t the best race photographer so these are the best we could find from the bunch.
